Brian "Mousey" Waters is a former Australian rules footballer who played in Tasmania during the 1960s and 1970s. In 1968 he won the Wander Medal, the North Western Football Union (NWFU) Best and Fairest award.[1]
Waters debuted with East Launceston in the Northern Tasmanian Football Association (NTFA) in 1962 and played most of his career in the centre or wing positions. In 1967 he joined Latrobe[2] in the NWFU and two years later was a member of that club's premiership team coached by Darrel Baldock.
Waters returned to East Launceston in 1970 and the next year finished equal third in the Hec Smith Medal, the NTFA's Best and Fairest award. Midway through the 1973 season he suffered a serious facial injury which led to his retirement from the game.[3]
Waters played at least six representative matches between 1965 and 1968, three for the NTFA and three for the NWFU.
