Brian Huskey (born September 8, 1968) is an American actor and comedian. He is best known for his role as a correspondent on The Onion News Network and currently appears as Chet on the Adult Swim series Childrens Hospital and appeared as Larry on the ABC sitcom Selfie.
Life and career
Huskey was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and has been an improviser and sketch comedy performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater (UCBT) in New York and Los Angeles for many years. At UCBT he was a member of the sketch troupe "The Naked Babies" with comedians Rob Corddry, Seth Morris and John Ross Bowie. He currently has a recurring role in Corddry's Adult Swim series Childrens Hospital, playing "Chet" the creepy EMT worker; he was promoted from recurring to series regular in the fifth season. Huskey also appeared as correspondent Duncan Birch on the IFC cable news satire The Onion News Network. Other past programs in which Huskey co-starred include the MTV prank show Damage Control and the VH1 comedy series Free Radio.
Early in his television career, Huskey frequently appeared in comedy sketches on Late Night with Conan O'Brien for many years and was a regular panelist on VH1's Best Week Ever. Huskey has also made many guest appearances on comedy programs such as Community, Parks and Recreation, Nick Swardson's Pretend Time, Worst Week, Happy Endings, Animal Practice, The Inbetweeners, Workaholics, and Veep. He has also appeared in films such as Superbad, Step Brothers, Semi-Pro, and Meet Dave.
Huskey has appeared in a number of commercials including a series of commercials for Sonic Drive-In and Wendy's. In 2011, he appeared in "The Swagger Wagon" ad campaign for the Toyota Sienna.[1]
Huskey also appeared in the ABC sitcom Selfie.
Huskey also appears in CollegeHumor's series "If Google was a Guy".
