Bretts Wharf is a ferry wharf in the suburb of Hamilton used by the CityCat on the Brisbane River.

Bretts Wharf services patrons from nearby Racecourse Road and Portside Wharf, as well as visitors to Eagle Farm Racecourse. Translink bus services 300 and 305 have a stop adjacent to the wharf. Bretts Wharf was the terminus for downstream CityCat services until Apollo Road ferry wharf reopened in 2008.

In January 2011 the wharf sustained a minor damage during the devastating floods;[1] it was repaired and reopened on 14 February 2011.[2][3]

2015 Upgrade

Bretts Wharf ferry terminal upgrade in Nov 2014

The new ferry wharf terminal is constructed downstream adjacent to intersection of Kingsford Smith Drive and Racecourse Road. The new terminal will incorporate dual-berth pontoon and a larger waiting area with additional seating. The Bretts Wharf ferry terminal upgrade commenced in late 2014[4] and is expected to be completed by early 2015. The existing terminal will remain open and operational while the new terminal is constructed. The old wharf will be removed on completion of the new one.
