Brent Owens is an Australian reality television cook. He is the winner of the sixth series of MasterChef Australia.[1]
Owens was a bobcat driver prior to competing in MasterChef.[2] He also played Australian rules football for Melton South Football Club in the Ballarat Football League.[3]
Owens has been in a relationship with long-term partner and high school sweetheart Madison Ancrum since 2008. She convinced him to sign up for MasterChef.[4]
Owens joined the workforce at age 18 and worked for Ancrum's father's excavation business. Owens bought a house at age 19.[5]
