Breck Stewart also known as Breck Alec Stewart is a singer-songwriter, actor, director and editor in various projects.[1] He was born in Montreal, Quebec in Canada on May 18, 1968.[2] He released two albums namely Utopia in 2007 and Mister E in 2010 on which he wrote all the songs. He also used several music producers including Primo, Saycool for Utopia and 604-ToKay, Jim Robson and Fafnirrockson for Mister E.[3] [4]
He appeared in 10 gay pornographic films starting in 2000 for various movie studios and retired from the adult entertainment industry after releasing his directorial debut called Utopia X in 2009.[5][6] He now resides in Montreal his place of birth after living in San Francisco and Los Angeles for a while.[7] He founded the company MoonDaze Productions in 2004 which acts as his record label, photographic studio, video production and record producer facility.[8][9] Breck officially came out as a bisexual in a blog posted on his domain.[10]
Porn Career 2000-2009
Breck appeared in his first gay porn movie produced by adult store Priape based in Montreal back in 2000.[11] Then he made a succession of movies in the United States from 2001 to 2004 for various studios including 3 for Falcon Entertainment (also known as Falcon Studios) one of which (Natural Instinct) was released under Mustang Studios, another label of Falcon Entertainment. The other 5 movies were produced by Titan Media, Catalina Video, Anaconda Studios, Galaxy Pictures and 1 by Red Devil Productions which was then distributed by Arena Entertainment.[5]
In 2004, he started to work on his first movie as a director and editor in which he also stars, a sci-fi porn called Utopia X produced by MoonDaze Productions.[12][13] Utopia X co-stars Eric Deslauriers and Mario Estes (both newcomers). The movie is unusual for an adult production because it features quickly edited images with explicit sexual content shown out of sequence. The movie was released in both NTSC and PAL standards in 2 different DVD package versions.[14]
First Album Utopia 2007
The soundtrack to Utopia X features the 16 songs that would also be released as a standalone album called Utopia on October 25, 2007 through Tunecore the online digital distribution company.[15] Utopia was then released again in late 2009 but this time as a 2-Disc Ultimate Edition on a CD physical package with 30 tracks.[16]
The first video and single from Utopia called Digital Lover was released on June 21, 2007.[17] A second single called Lustful Puppylove was made available on February 18, 2008.[18] A third single called Be Integrated followed in May 1, 2008.[19] The movie Utopia X was then recut into a shorter and censored version (with every explicit footage removed) and split into seven parts each featuring one song from Utopia. Utopia Part 1 featuring song Synthetic Paradise was released on September 7, 2008.[20] Utopia Part 2 - Save Us became available on October 4, 2008.[21]
The third part featuring the song Tomorrow Love was released on the 24 of the same month.[22] Utopia Part 4 - Bad Boy was next on December 8, 2008.[23] On February 23, 2009 the fifth part was released with the song Above All Clouds ,[24] followed by Utopia Part 6 - New Apprentice on May 9[25] and finally Part 7 - Feel Me on March 25, 2010.[26]
Second Album Mister E 2010
On October 1, 2010 Breck released his second album called Mister E through the ReverbNation online digital distribution system. [3] [4] It contains 10 songs and the main theme is about the dangers associated with the abuse of drug MDMA commonly known as Ecstasy.[27] The first single, a song called Desert Breeze was released on October 28, 2010.[28] A second single Ecstasy In 24 would follow on January 2, 2011.[29]
A third song was released with an accompanying video on April 8, 2011 named Lost In This Paradox.[30] Mister E single number 4 Disturbing Bliss was then launched on October 5 of the same year.[31] On June 24, 2012 a fifth single and video was released called Exotic Celebration.[32] On March 10, 2013 single number 6 Razor Laugh was released[33] followed by number 7 So Free It Hurts on September 11 of the same year.[34] As founder and President of MoonDaze Productions, Breck added Marc-Alain Marticotte as his business partner and talent manager in 2012 also naming him Vice President.[8][35]
Reality show MoonDaze TV 11-11-2011
Between January 2008 and April 2008, Breck released a series of 6 short videos where he talked about several icons of the entertainment industry.[36][37][38][39][40][41] This first batch of MoonDaze TV specials would lay the ground for a new revamped version inaugurated on November 11, 2011 as a Reality Television series.[8][35] It features several cultural and artistic events happening in Montreal. A special twist to the show is that the 2 cameramen along with every other member behind the scenes are seen and heard on purpose, therefore they are part of the cast as well. [42] Breck is the only cast member present in every episode so far as the cast and crew vary over time. The first episode was less than 4 minutes but the show gradually became longer with an eventual running time of 25 minutes in average.[43][44]
