Brandon Stones (born 7 February 1993 in Nottingham, England) is a British ice hockey goaltender, currently playing for the Sheffield Spartans and began playing the sports from the age of 5 in Nottingham under the coaching of his father Roger stones. Originally Stones started his hockey career as an out player until while training in Nottignhams under 12 he played his first game as a goalie.

Playing career

Brandon Stones has spent the majority of his career to date playing in the Great Britain Under 18's league for the Nottingham Leopards from 2008 and Sheffield Steelhawks in 2010. In 2010 he played in 1 game for the EIHL champions Sheffield Steelers before being loaned to rivals Edinburgh Capitals, where he appeared in three games for the struggling club.

In 2011 Stones played for Great Britain in the IIHF World U18 Division I Championship.

On 23 May 2011 it was announced that Stones would be joining the Coventry Blaze in the EIHL as their backup goaltender.[1]

Now in 2014 Stones plays for Sheffield spartans coached by martin white as their number 1 goalie and sports the number 20.
