Brandon Markeith Marshall (born September 10, 1989) is an American football linebacker for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the fifth round (142nd overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at the University of Nevada.[1]

Professional career

Jacksonville Jaguars

Marshall was released by the Jaguars on October 27, 2012, re-signed on October 30, and released on November 1. He was signed to the team's practice squad on November 5 and promoted to the active roster on December 18.

He was released on August 30, 2013.

Denver Broncos

He was signed to the Denver Broncos' practice squad on September 2, 2013. [2] On December 24, he was promoted to the active 53-man roster after placing Von Miller on injured reserve.[3]
