Brandon Burns

Brandon Burns is an Australian singer and actor from the city of Geelong, Victoria. He rose to fame as a contestant in the Australian Idol show.

Personal life

Brandon started singing lessons at the age of four and states that music has played a major role in his life. As well as his various acting and singing achievements, Brandon holds a business/marketing degree from Swinburne University in Melbourne.

Career

Brandon has had roles in Australian television programs including Neighbours; where which he had appeared several times, Blue Heelers and Round the Twist. Brandon is also a singer whose breakthrough role is credited as his performance of "My Dad picks the fruit..." in the popular Cottee's television advertisement. Years later, Brandon was one of 40 finalists in the nationally famous Channel 10 talent show, Australian Idol. He also appeared in the revival of Countdown The Musical at the Palms at Crown in January 2009 playing among others Ross Wilson, Mark Holden and Darryl Braithwaite.
