Branch Metrics is a business analytics platform offering developer tools for large and independent mobile application companies. Its toolset contains web, iOS, and Android SDKs which generate smart deeplinks that pass data through application install to facilitate and track conversions and user engagement through targeted communications.[1][2] Mobile application developers can use these tools in conjunction with Branch's drop-in SDK to personalize the install experience for each new user referred or acquired through digital advertising.[3] The Branch Metrics platform dashboard tracks and displays such data as user behavior, K-factor, campaign performance, and LTVs.[4] Collected data is used to build custom reports to analyze organic growth and identify ROI of various advertising efforts.[5]
Branch Metrics was founded by Alex Austin, Mike Molinet, Mada Seghete, and Dmitri Gaskin in 2014.[6][7][8][9] It is backed by NEA, Greylock Partners, Redpoint Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Pejman Mar Ventures and Ben Narasin.[10]
As of February, 2015 Branch Metrics claimed to have hundreds of partner apps including HotelTonight, iHeartRadio, Microsoft, Instacart, Flipboard, Polyvore, and Udemy.[11]
