Bramham Horse Trials

Bramham Horse Trials is one of the UK's premier three-day events, taking place every June on the Lane Fox's Bramham Park Estate, near Leeds in Yorkshire. The event attracts an average of 45,000 spectators.[1]

The event first ran in 1974[1] and now runs as a CCI*** event, attracting top riders and horses, and also incorporates the Under-25 championship and other attractions such as the Winergy Burghley Young Event Horse competition, BSJA showjumping, showing classes and a range of rural attractions and tradestands.[2]

The winner William Fox-Pitt of 2005 also claimed 2nd place, with Mr Dumbledore and Idalgo respectively, as was one of only a few riders to successfully negotiate Sue Benson's stiff cross country track.
