Brad Cole (born 21 October 1987 in Miniota, Manitoba) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing for the Alaska Aces of the ECHL.
Playing career
Cole played four Western Hockey League (WHL) seasons with the Seattle Thunderbirds, Kootenay Ice and Saskatoon Blades between 2003 and 2007.
He turned professional in 2007–08 when, on May 22, 2007, he was signed as a free agent by the Calgary Flames. Cole attended the Flames training camp and was assigned to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Quad City Flames.
On June 29, 2010 the Flames did not tender a contract which allowed Cole to become an unrestricted free agent (UFA). On October 5, 2010 he was signed as a free agent by the Greenville Road Warriors of the ECHL.[1]
After two seasons abroad in the Austrian Hockey League (EBEL), with HDD Olimpija Ljubljana and EC VSV, Cole returned to the Greenville Road Warriors of the ECHL for the 2013–14 season.
On September 26, 2014, Cole agreed to a one-year contract to remain in the ECHL with the Alaska Aces.[2]
