Boyster is a French-American, 2D CGI TV series that premiered on Disney XD on June 16, 2014. The titular Boyster character is half human, and half mollusk, and his name is a portmanteau of "boy" and "oyster."
Characters
- Boyster (Akie Kotabe) - Half boy, half oyster mutant, Boyster has some strange “super” powers that make him super stretchy, give him night vision, allow him to control streams of water, as well as some not so super powers such as inky snot and fishy sweat.[1]
- Rafik (Rasmus Hardiker) - Rafik is Boyster’s best friend, and the only friend that knows his secret. He’s a playful kid who loves to have fun, whatever the situation. He is a bit of a fantasist, loves making a drama out of any situation and he often finds things funny even if they’re not.
- Shelby (Matthew Forbes) - Shelby is Boyster’s shell – a complete and self-sufficient mutant being who’s Boyster’s weird, intelligent yet slightly awkward twin brother who can fly. Shelby loves to watch TV, and has learned everything he knows from watching it.
- Ozzy - The school bully. He’s not your typical dumb jock, but he does have a mean streak. Ozzy has two older weightlifting sisters so is considered the runt of the family!
- Alicia - Sweet and smart, Boyster has his heart set on Alicia. Daughter of mega rich parents, she tries to be as normal as possible, she’s passionate about art and loves nothing more than painting pictures of her beloved cat, Vanilla.
- Marion Pluss - Known as the Teachinator, Mr. Pluss has made it his life’s mission to be the strictest most efficient teaching machine imaginable. Pupils tremble in his path.
