The Boyne River is a tributary of the Burnett River in the Wide Bay–Burnett region of Queensland, Australia. The river is dammed near the town of Proston to form Lake Boondooma before meeting the Burnett River upstream from Mundubbera[1] at Boynewood.

The river rises at Boyneside near Haly Mountain which is at the northwest extent of the Bunya Mountains. In this area the river is crossed by the Bunya Highway.
