Bowman's Lodge in Dartford, Kent was used as a cricket venue for a four matches later regarded as first-class. The first came in 1795 and saw England play a Hampshire team; the second first-class fixture that year was between the same sides. First-class cricket was next played there in 1806, when a Kent side played England. The final first-class match at the ground came in 1809 and saw England play a Surrey team.[1] Located on Dartford Heath, the exact location of the ground is unknown.
