Bouillon is a Haitian soup traditionally cooked on Saturday.[1] It is made with sliced meat, potatoes, sliced plantains, yam, kelp, cabbage, and celery (other ingredient variations exist), and cooked as a mildly thick soup. It is similar to sancocho served in some neighboring Latin American countries.
