Bou Ismaïl
Bou Ismaïl (Algerian Arabic: بو إسماعيل) is a city in Bou Ismaïl District, Tipasa Province, Algeria. In 1998 it had a population of 27,000.[1] Its French colonial name was Castiglione.
Notable residents
- Ahmed Ressam, an Algerian al-Qaeda member convicted of attempting to bomb the Los Angeles International Airport on New Year's Eve 1999, as part of the foiled 2000 millennium attack plots.
