Bosley is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 406.[1] The village is on the A523 road about six miles south of Macclesfield. It is the site of the Bosley Reservoir.

The village is immediately to the north of the Staffordshire border, and is close to the Peak District National Park.

Despite being a small area it homes a number of national companies including Wood Treatment Ltd, manufacturers of Smart Cat wood based cat litter.

Arthur Herbert Procter, Victoria Cross recipient, was parish vicar of Bosley from 1931 to 1933.[2]
