Borio (Vidhan Sabha constituency)

Borio (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is an assembly constituency in the Indian state of Jharkhand. Borio was a part of Santhal Pargana district in undivided Bihar but is now part of the Sahibganj district. It is situated around 37 km from the Sahibganj district headquarters. The Borio Assembly seat is reserved for the Scheduled Tribe. The nearest railway stations are Sahibganj (38 km) and Tinpahar (18 km).

Borio was into news when Dipu Shaw, a Television journalist and a resident of the village represented India in Europe in a programme.
