The Boomerang is a standard Vekoma Boomerang built in 1993 at Pleasure Island Family Theme Park Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire. It is the main thrill ride at the park and is in White Knuckle Valley. It has a top speed of 47 m.p.h and completes 6 inversions.
Ride Experience
From the station the train is taken up the 35m (116 ft) hill by a catch-car. Once the train has reached the top it is launched at a speed of 47 m.p.h. It travels through the station going into the cobra roll. Next it hits the vertical loop. After there are some brakes which slows the train down to be pulled up right to the top and then it is released into all the inversions once again only backwards. Riders are subject to 5gs in this time and 3 inversions
