Bold Films is an American independent film production and finance company.[1] In 2014 the company garnered recognition for producing the critically acclaimed Whiplash and Nightcrawler. The company also creates contents for television, it currently produces Dominion which currently airs on Syfy and produced ABC's Black Box.

In May 2014, former president of Mandalay Vision Matthew Rhodes, was named company president of Bold to oversee the company's development, reporting directly to company chairman Michel Litvak and CEO Gary Michael Walters.[2]

In February 2015, Bold Films opened offices in London.[3]
