Bodwad is a village in the revenue subdivision of Jalgaon district in Nashik division of Khandesh region of Maharashtra state in India[2]

Geography

Bodwad is located at North Maharashtra. It is very near Madhya Pradesh.. It has an average elevation of 209 metres (686 feet).

It is located on Bhusawal - Badnera section of Bhusawal Division of Central Railway and is on Mumbai - Howrah main rail route. The biggest college in the city is N H Ranka Highschool & jr-Sr College.

Bodwad is mainly known for its cotton industries; there are lot of spinning mills nearby. It is one of India's largest cotton product manufacturing centers[3] Additionally, several oil production facilities are nearby.

Internal roads like Jamner Road, Muktainagar Road, Jamthi Road, Malkapur Road, Manur Road are very congested in Bodwad and also get connected to [NH 6], totally they have four exits from the town. Nasik( HinduPilgrimage place) is only 6½ hrs journey by road & railway.
