Robert "Bob" McCaslin, Jr. is an American politician. A Republican, he has served in the Washington House of Representatives since November 25, 2014, when he was sworn in early due to the resignation of Larry Crouse. He is from Spokane Valley.[1] McCaslin sought to be appointed to Crouse's seat in January 2014, but Leonard Christian was chosen instead by Spokane County commissioners.[2] Running for a full term in the November 4, 2014, general election, he defeated former Spokane Valley Mayor Diana Wilhite, a fellow Republican.[3]

Personal life

McCaslin is a kindergarten teacher. His father, Bob McCaslin, Sr., was a former Washington state senator from Spokane Valley.[4]
