Bob Gassoff Trophy

The Bob Gassoff Trophy was presented annually from 1978 to 1984 to the most improved defenceman in the Central Hockey League (CHL).[1]

First awarded with the 1977–78 season, this trophy was created to honour Bob Gassoff, the National Hockey League defenceman who was killed in a motorcycle accident on May 27, 1977.
