Robert Logan Breitenstein (July 24, 1913 – March 28, 2002) was the twelfth head football coach for the Appalachian State Mountaineers located in the town of Boone in Watauga County, North Carolina for one season in 1959.[1] Previous to that, he was an Offensive Backs coach under Andy Gustafson, at the University of Miami At Miami, he coached quarterback George Mira and fullback Don Bosseler. He died in 2002.[2]
