Blue Water Entertainment is an American film production company that produces films on the environment and socially conscious issues, including both documentaries, comedies, and dramas.[1]

Company history

The company was founded in 2000 by Greg Reitman.[2] In 2003 the company released Hollywood's Magical Island: Catalina,[3] which was purchased and broadcast by PBS. In 2008 the company released the documentary Fields of Fuel, which was the winner of the Sundance Festival Audience Award for US Documentaries.[4] The film covers the relationship between the American government, the oil industry, and the automobile industry, focusing on showing points of potential corruption or the negative impact of the oil industry on the US.[5][6] In 2015 the company will release the film Rooted in Peace, which will be featured at the Sundance Film Festival,[7] and premiered at the Sedona International Film Festival.[8]
