Blue Felix

Blue Felix is a six-piece American hard rock/metal band based in Minneapolis, Minnesota assembled in 2004. Their name is derived from a 'certain dose' of the psychedelic drug, LSD,^[1] also known as 'Blue Felix', that was favored by the band in earlier years. Blue Felix recorded "Sample of A Solution" an album co-produced by Sid Wilson (also known as DJ Starscream, #0) of Slipknot, at Winterland Studios July 2010.

On 16 November 2010, Blabbermouth.net reported that the band had released their debut music video, "Middle Finger Up" and that Sid Wilson who also appears in the video, is "hunted, caught, and brought to DJ with the band for the frenzied crowd."^[2]

Blue Felix nationally tours relentlessly in their 40-foot converted cross-country tour bus sharing stages with such acts as American Head Charge, All That Remains, Alien Ant Farm, Asking Alexandra, Buckcherry, Cavalera Conspiracy, Devin Townsend, Eye Empire, Five Finger Death Punch, Gemini Syndrome, Hed PE, Hemlock, "KNOTFEST" = (Slipknot, Deftones, Machinehead, Cannibal Corpse, Lamb Of God, Prong, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and Serj Tankian), Marilyn Manson, Mushroomhead, Otep, Psychostick, Seasons After, Sevendust, Sid Wilson, Snot, Spineshank, Taproot, Tenafly Viper, "THE GATHERING OF THE JUGGALOS 2010" = (Insane Clown Posse, Tech N9ne, Twiztid, Warren G, Kottonmouth Kings, Method Man, Vanilla Ice, and Prozac), 36 Crazy Fists, Ventana, Walls Of Jericho.

Playing countless festivals with hundreds of top drawing regional bands. Playing popular venues from Whiskey A Go-Go, State Theater, Machine Shop, and First Avenue. Divebars to outdoor amphitheatres.

Spring of 2013 began the fourth album with producer Matt Dalton at 37 Studios in Michigan. In 2014 the band release a 6 song EP. Blue Felix is currently recording new music which could be released this year 2015.
