Bloodsport (album)
Bloodsport is the third album by Sneaker Pimps. It was released on January 22, 2002.
Despite being a UK chart flop it made the Austrian top 75 album chart at #68.

- The CD single 'Loretta Young Silks' contained a track called 'Miami Counting' a song which was not included on the album.
- The CD single 'Sick' contained a track called 'After Every Party I Die' which was later reused on IAMX's 'The Alternative'. This was also left off the album.
- The 12 inch single of 'Bloodsport' contained a track called 'O-Type' a song which was not included on the album. Another version circulates which is an alternate edit, not the one found on the 12 inch single.
- The album was released on a double red vinyl set.
- During the 'Splinter' and 'Bloodsport' era, Julian Barratt from 'The Mighty Boosh' would often play live with the band. Noel Fielding also from the 'Mighty Boosh' posed with Chris Corner in a photo-shoot replicating Roxy Music's 'Country Life' album.
- Sue Denim who sang on the album is in a popular group called 'Robots In Disguise' and Chris Corner along with Noel Fielding starred in their music video called 'GIRL'.
- In an interview Chris Corner stated that their change of style meant they wanted to keep things fresh as once again the media said the album wasn't the same as their first two as it failed in the UK charts.
- Once the album was completed the demos for 'SP4' (an unreleased project circa 2003/4) began to commence.
