Blake Clarke (born January 24, 1996) is an American ice hockey player. He is currently playing in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the Saginaw Spirit. Clarke is rated as a top prospect[1] who, at one point early in his OHL career, was viewed as a possible first round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.[2]

Clarke played junior hockey with the Fargo Force of the United States Hockey League during the 2011–12 season.[3] Clarke was then drafted by the Brampton Battalion in the 1st round (15th overall) of the 2012 OHL Priority Selection,[4] and he joined the Battalion for the 2012–13 season, staying with the team until he was traded to the Saginaw Spirit mid-way through the 2013–14 season.[5] Clarke was rewarded for his outstanding play when he was invited to take part in both the 2013 CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game[6] and the CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.[7]

International

As a 15-year-old, Clarke was selected to play with Team USA at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics.[8]
