Blair Daly

Eric Blair Daly[1] is an American songwriter and record producer. He was born and raised in the small, Cajun town of Opelousas, Louisiana. Blair moved from high school to Nashville, Tennessee in 1990, to pursue a career in music. He now travels all over to co-write with different artists, but Nashville remains his home base.

Blair Daly is a multi faceted song writer, writing #1 singles for multiple formats. Shortly after moving to TN, Daly took Nashville by storm by writing two back to back #1 hits for John Michael Montgomery.[2]

Career

Daly has co-written three number one country singles over the years including the number 1 single "Stand", recorded by Rascal Flatts in 2007. He has had singles on many different formats including Country, Top 40, Hot AC, and AC.

Daly is known for his ability to write and produce in many different genres of music. He has had songs recorded by such artists as Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, The Backstreet Boys, Il Divo, Chicago, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Martin Stenmarck, Sixx:A.M., Halestorm, and Saving Abel. He has also produced songs for Sarah Buxton and Katie Armiger.

Daly also co-write Uncle Kracker's crossover hit "Smile".[3]
