Blaenycoed, or Blaen-y-coed is a village situated between Carmarthen and Newcastle Emlyn in the West of Wales.
General information
The small village contains a chapel, a postbox, a phonebox and a few small farms. It is also home to the camping and caravanning site Woodland Rise. The name "Blaen-y-coed" literally translated into English means "Head-of-a-wood."
