Black Walk is a film and television production company located in Whitby, Ontario founded in the early 1990s. Black Walk quickly became one of the most successful music video production companies to date. Black Walk is involved in the production of Trippin, a travel and destination fishing show with Mariko Izumi and Nick Honachefsky, and Reflections, a Christian television show which features the beauty of God's Earth.

History

Black Walk made its mark on the industry in the 1990s producing over 500 music videos, including hits from numerous American and Canadian A-list talent such as Shaggy, Creed, Alanis Morissette, and Nickelback. Davis (X-Files), and Mercedes McNab (Buffy / Angel). Medium Raw is being released through Anchor Bay / Starz in Canada, US, UK and Australia. In addition Dark Rising: Summer Strikes Back and Dark Rising: The Savage Tales of Summer Vale were taken to market by Cinemavault.

At the end of 2011 Black Walk produced a new feature film directed by Michael DeCarlo with the assistance of Telefilm entitled “Two Hands To Mouth”. This project will be available at the start of 2013 and is being distributed by Decade Distribution.

2012 rejuvenated the company, with Craig Fleming returning in the post of VP-Production. In addition to production responsibilities he will spearhead development of factual entertainment. In production, Mihkel Harilaid developed the Dark Rising franchise with Andrew Cymek into the hour-long Supernatural drama Dark Rising: Warrior of Worlds. The project is being released internationally by Mar Vista Entertainment.
