The black-bodied woodpecker (Hylatomus schulzi)[2] is a species of bird in the Picidae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, and Paraguay. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, moist savanna, and plantations . It is threatened by habitat loss.
