Bjørkelangen is the administrative centre of Aurskog-Høland municipality, Norway. Its population (2007) is 2,438.
Bjørkelangen became the administrative centre of the Aurskog-Høland municipality in 1966. It is located in the north end of the lake named Bjørkelangsjøen.
There is an elementary school, a junior high school, and two high schools in the village. The first high school is Bjørkelangen Videregående Skole which is a traditional high school with a broad scholarly focus area. The second high school is Kjelle Videregående Skole which is focusing on forestry and agricultural education.
Bjørkelangen has three grocery stores (Rimi, REMA1000, and COOP Prix), two gas stations, Shell and Esso, in addition to a number of clothing and other kinds of stores in close proximity of the main street (aka "Gågata").
