Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School is a grade 9-12 private, Roman Catholic high school designed to provide a comprehensive Catholic, career focused education in Altoona, Pennsylvania. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown.

Numerous masses, retreats and services are available. The academic curriculum at Bishop Guilfoyle includes classes, honors classes, AP classes and dual enrollment classes affiliated with three post-secondary institutions. Coursework in career focus areas provide the students with insight as to what they may wish to peruse as a career.

Extracurricular programs include interscholastic sports, music, drama, forensics, yearbook, student council, and a variety of club activities.

Sports

During the 2006-07 basketball season, the Lady Marauders won two individual championships. The first was the District 6 single A championship, achieved at DeGol Arena on the Saint Francis University campus. The Lady Marauders capped off their season by winning the single A state championship at the Bryce Jordan Center. Their final overall record was 31-1. The Lady Marauders then won the single A state championship again during the 2008-2009 season, finishing with a 31-1 record. The Lady Marauders returned to the Bryce Jordan Center during the 2009-2010 season to play for their third single A state title in four years after winning the LHAC Championship and District 6 title. They defeated Northern Camberia 49-29 to win the state title and cap off an undefeated, 30-0, season.

In 2011, the Bishop Guilfoyle Girls Volleyball team won the District 6 Championship on November 5. This was the first time they accomplished this since 2000. It was the 3rd time in school history. Led by 9 seniors, the Girls Volleyball team then went for the first time to the State Championship Tournament in York, Pennsylvania at Central York High School. They made it all the way to the semi-finals which was held on Saturday, November 12 and lost to Clarion High School. They ended their season as the second runner up in the state of Pennsylvania, which was the furthest a Bishop Guilfoyle Volleyball team has gone in history.
