Bisankhunarayan is a village development committee in Lalitpur District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 3867 in 707 individual households.[1] Bishankhunarayan is historic place because of popular hindu god Bishnu temple called Bishankhu narayan. Narayan means God Bishnu. In the temple there's a small cave too. In kathmandu vallye four temple called (narayan temple). 1. Bishankhu narayan 2. Shes narayan 3. Budhalinkantha Narayan 4. Changu Narayan . Every year tens of thousand pilgrims visit these four temple.

Villages near Bishnankhunarayan include Godawari, Lamatar, Godamchour. Bishankhunarayn vdc has rich water resources as well as big and thick forest. [2]
