Birmingham Town Hall tram stop is a stop for the planned extension of Line One of the Midland Metro into Birmingham City Centre in the United Kingdom. Network West Midlands has issued a plan of route for the line extension, showing this as the stop between Birmingham New Street and Centenary Square. The stop will allow passengers improved access to Victoria Square, the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and the Town Hall itself. Permission for the line extension was granted on 21 October 2013 and works are due to be completed in 2017.[1]
