Biofreeze
Biofreeze is a topical over-the-counter gel for pain relief consisting of menthol[1] and other ingredients.
Company origins
The company that launched Biofreeze was Performance Health, Inc. This company was acquired by the Hygenic Corporation in 2006. Hygenic Corporation is located in Akron, Ohio and serves the hands-on healthcare professional markets.
Uses
The product can be used to alleviate sore muscles, muscle sprains and strains, back, shoulder and neck pain, and to reduce pain to ankle, knee, hip and elbow joints.

- Inactive Ingredients: Aloe, Arnica, Boswellia, Calendula, Green Tea, Ilex, Camphor, Lemon Balm
