Billy Woods is an American alternative hip hop artist from New York City. He is the founder of the record label Backwoodz Studioz.[1][2][3][4][5] He is one half of the duo Armand Hammer.[6] He released History Will Absolve Me in 2012.[7] Dour Candy, his solo album entirely produced by Blockhead, was released in 2013.[8][9]
