Billy Stagg is a retired football winger who played in the Football League for Brentford. He also played in Sweden and the United States.[1] Stagg's 5'4" height ties him with Hughie Reed for the record of shortest Brentford player.[2]
Career
A graduate of the Brentford youth team, Rolph made four appearances for the Bees during the 1974/75 Division Four campaign at the age of 16.[1] Rolph was released in the summer of 1975 and dropped into non-league football, playing for Wealdstone (two spells),[3] Staines Town,[1] Aylesbury United,[3] Hazells,[3] Tonbridge Angels, Northwood (three spells),[4] Hendon[5] and St Albans City.[6] He had a short spell with Swedish Division Two side GAIS during the 1980 season,[7] scoring in a 4-0 win over eventual champions Örgryte IS.[8]
