William "Bill" Owen (born 17 September 1906 in Northwich – 26 March 1981)[1] was an English footballer. His regular position was as at outside left. He began his career with non-league sides Northwich Victoria and Macclesfield Town before playing in the Football League for Manchester United, Reading, Exeter City and Newport County.[2]
