Bill Grubb
Occupation Businessman
Known for Imagic

Bill Grubb (William F.X. Grubb) is a businessman who was the co-founder of Imagic, which was at one time the second largest third party video game publisher in the United States.[1]

Career

Grubb left an 18 month post at Atari as a vice president of marketing[2] to form Imagic. Before that, he was with the marketing department at Black and Decker for 11 years.[3]

It was Grubb's goal to take Imagic public[1] and to eventually overtake Activision as the number one third party video game publisher,[3] but the North American Video Game Crash of 1983 caused Imagic to withdraw its IPO and eventually close its doors in 1985.[4]
