Bianca Alexa Santos (born July 26, 1990 )[2] is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Lexi Rivera in the ABC Family series The Fosters and for her role as Lucy Velez in the MTV series Happyland.[3]
Early years
She was born in Santa Monica, California.[4] She is of Cuban and Brazilian descent.[5] She is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.[6][7] Bianca aspired to be an actress at a young age. Her parents were supportive but they did not know how to foster her dreams. Bianca Santos attended California Lutheran University majoring in psychology and minoring in sociology. Shortly after graduating, she moved back home with her parents and took acting classes. One day, she was meeting with an acting manager and despite how nervous she was, someone in the office found something special about her. Four months later, she was in The Fosters.
Career
In May 2013, it was announced that Santos would join the cast of the new TV series The Fosters.[3] Santos co-starred in the 2014 horror film Ouija.[8] Santos was also cast in the role of Lucy Velez on MTV's original show Happyland.
