Bharoli Kalan is a census town in pathankot district in the state of Punjab, India.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[1] Bharoli Kalan had a population of 3369. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Bharoli Kalan has an average literacy rate of 66%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 73% and female literacy of 59%. 14% of the population is under 6 years of age. The village belongs to the Rajput caste which population is over than 50%,total population of village. first serpench of village was Nanat Ram who is belong to Mahasha caste, after that other serpench were Baldev Singh, Kundan Lal, Kanahiya Lal and lady serpanch Madhu Bala. Presently the sarpanch of the village is Maan Singh. There are only few young boys and girls who achieve higher studies. Mr kuldeep singh S/o sh khazan singh caste wise rajpoot who has done B.sc from punjab university & presently working as vice president in reputed sugar company( DCM group) in uttarprdaesh.Mr. Avtar singh S/o sh. pyara singh who has fisrt B.tech graduate in the village .he has done engineering from thapur university year 1982.Presently there are only four boys who are in engineering colleges. There are only a few schools in this village: one is government school and another is Navyug public school.Most of the youngester love to live in chandigarh. The most famous place of Bharoli Kalan is its railway station. The railway station is at the entrance of the village. The nearest city of the village is Pathankot. Bharoli Kalan is well sattel village like a small town.

This village has its own health centre. There is a famous shiv mandir in Bharoli Kalan which is at the entrance of the village. People of the village have to cross the railway crossing. Now Bharoli Kalan is added in committee. Now the village will get more facilities like a higher study school. The young boys are interested to get enrolled in armed forces instead of higher studies like engineering or other bachelor courses.
