Bhandardaha is a census town under Domjur police station in Sadar subdivision of Howrah district in the state of West Bengal, India.[1]
Geography
Bhandardaha is located at 22°37′N 88°13′E / 22.62°N 88.21°E.[2] It has an average elevation of 12 metres (39 feet).
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[3] Bhandardaha had a population of 4816. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Bhandardaha has an average literacy rate of 65%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 70% and female literacy of 60%. 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
