Bhai Pratap was an Indian businessman, philanthropist and freedom fighter, best remembered as the founder of the towns of Adipur and Gandhidham to resettle refugees from Sindh.

Pratap Moolchand Dialdas was born in Hyderabad, Sindh, on 14 April 1908 into an affluent Bhaiband family.Beside his other remarkable feats in the socio-political field he also built a beautiful residence in Hyderabad Pakistan by the name of Pratab Mahal. The architecture of the building was a fusion of Indian (Rajhastani) and European style. It had profuse use of Burma teak wood doors, windows and staircases. Two carrera marble lions guarded the main entrance. Bhai Pratap was widely travelled and had established his businesses in India as well as internationally. His ethnic as well as international taste is reflected amply in Pratab Mahal, whixh also had a huge library with books from around the world. After the partition he left along with his family for India and help establish a city for the displaced Sindhi Hindus by the name of Gandhidham in Kuch. After the partition, Pratap Mahal was allotted to a notable surgeon of the province of Sindh Khan Bahadur Dr Abdul Aziz Abbasi who established the Abbasi Hospital on the first floor of the building and made the second floor his residence.He served the people of Sindh as well as the neighboring south Punjab and even parts of Baluchistan with sincerity, hardwork and dedication and now his son Dr Abdul Hamid Abbasi has been serving the Sindhi population with same sincerity and hardwork.In short Bhai Pratap's building has been serving the Sindhis (new and old) from 1947 till now
