Beyond the Law (Italian: Al di là della legge), aka, The Good Die First, is a 1968 Spaghetti Western feature film directed by Giorgio Stegani and starring Lee Van Cleef as Cudlip, Antonio Sabàto Sr. as Ben Novack and Gordon Mitchell as Burton.[1] It was first released in Italy in 1967 as Al Di La Della Legge and was produced by Roxy-Film. It was first distributed in the United States in 1971.[2]
Plot summary
After robbing a stagecoach, Billy Joe Cudlip (Lee Van Cleef) is determined to "go straight", and is named the new sheriff of Silverton. But does he really want the job—or just access to the valuable shipments of silver?
Releases
Wild East released this alongside The Grand Duel, aka Storm Rider, also starring Lee Van Cleef, in an out-of-print limited edition R0 NTSC DVD in 2005.
