Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC is an international real estate company which began operations in July 2008.[1] In October 2007, Realogy Corporation entered a 50-year agreement to license the Better Homes and Gardens brand from Meredith Corporation (NYSE: MDP).[2] Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate is the fifth residential brand for Realogy.[3]

The company franchises independent businesses to operate within its growing network that currently includes approximately 7,000 sales associates and more than 200 offices that serve homebuyers and sellers in 24 states.[4] In October 2011,[5] Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate expanded into Canada.[6] Its corporate offices are based in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey.[7]

Sherry Chris is the company’s president and CEO.[8] Appointed President and CEO of BHGRE in October 2007. Sherry has more than 27 years of real estate experience including, significant senior management positions in the areas of sales, marketing, new technologies, and franchise management.[9]
