Bessiebelle is a town in the County of Normanby and Shire of Minhamite, in South Western Victoria. The Population of Bessiebelle during 2006 census was 195,[1] but by 2011 In the most recent Australian census the population of Bessiebelle was only 176.[2] The postcode for Bessiebelle is 3304.[3] It has an active CFA Branch.

The town is about 266kms west of the state capital city Melbourne, on the Eumeralla River adjacent to the Mount Eccles National Park.
