Bernhard Getz

Bernhard Getz (1850 1901) was a Norwegian judge, professor, law reformer and politician for the Conservative Party.

He was born in Trondhjem. From 1889 to 1901 he served as the first Norwegian Director of Public Prosecutions. He was Mayor of Kristiania from 1891 to 1892. He was a member of the Norwegian Nobel Committee from 1897.[1][2]
