Benzinga is an American financial media outlet focused on companies, ranging in size from startups to established NASDAQ-100 firms. It was founded by Jason Raznick in 2009.[1]The site provides original articles and reports actionable rumors about public companies.[2][3] Benzinga also offers a streaming platform called BenzingaPro that breaks market-moving news while offering non-biased analysis.[4][5] The company announced it will be moving from Southfield, Michigan to downtown Detroit in February, 2015.[6]
In 2011, Lightbank invested $1.5 Million in Benzinga.[7][8][9]
Marketfy, a product built by Benzinga, is a marketplace that provides users with educational material, trade alerts, and market insights led by financial industry professionals. Trades executed on the platform are verified in real time.[10]
Benzinga joins bigshots on Windows 8 screen.[11][12]
